I consulted April because of a longstanding knee injury that was impacting my running, and I just couldn’t get on top off. After a thorough assessment, April created a gradual treatment plan existing of both strength exercises and a running program. Most of these strength exercises were new to me and she took the time to explain their purpose and demonstrate each of them. April also provided access to an online platform with videos to support applying them correctly and keep track on the progress made. In addition to being knowledgeable and skilled as a physiotherapist, April is also a great listener who tailored the treatment and approach to my specific individual needs and kept me motivated and hopeful during tough times. She is easy to connect with and very accessible both during consultations as well as in between appointments by text or email. April is providing just that little extra, so you feel supported and guided at all times. I highly recommend April and her practice Shape Physio if you are looking for a Melbourne based knowledgeable and caring physiotherapist who offers truly effective treatment!

I have had lower back pain for a large part of my adult life and have been trying to manage through exercise myself. I decided to see a physio and made an appointment with April who did an assessment of my back and was able to identify specific muscular deficiencies that were contributing to my problem. April gave me a program that I have been following for roughly 6 weeks and I am no longer experiencing the spasms in my lower back and tightness in my hips. This has enabled me to continue training Muay Thai and yoga alongside her program, while remaining pain free. I have been struggling with the back spasms for years and I am super happy with the outcome.
